The Emeritus bishop of Keta Akatsi Diocese, Most Rev. Anthony ADANUTY in his homily entreated all present to reflect on their mission from God.

He asked a rhetorical question that “does it mean that if a reverend sister decides to leave the sisterhood she had deceived the church”? And that “any attempt by Man to get closer to God is an attempt to become perfect.”

“Amos was a shepherd and by His special call he became a prophet. Joseph was a carpenter and by His special call he became a foster father of the son of God. Peter, James, John were fishermen but by special call or vocation they became apostles. Matthew was a tax collector but became an apostle”. “The mission that God gives you the more it is nearer to Gods own mission, the special the call”, Most Rev. Anthony ADANUTY added.

The soft speaking Bishop Emeritus Anthony told the sisters that as long as they are aware of their weakness and fragility they should humbly depend on God for support and that they need to have “a mad love for God “by clothing in love to bind them together.

The sisters were examined to test their readiness to dedicate themselves to God and to seek perfect charity. The litany of saints was sung to call The Holy angels and Saints to intercede for them.
