Trust God in all circumstances – Very Rev. Fr. Quaye- Foli, SVD

Today,  the New Year ushers us into the ordinary time in the liturgical Calendar. No one really knows what the year has for us. But God knows. The will of God is the duty of the Day.

He stressed that what will happen in this New Year depends on us largely and therefore we should make conscious effort to be positive in all circumstances. He continues to say that God will always do his part and the rest is in our hands. “The New Year will be fruitful but will depend on the choices we make, the decisions that we take, the behavior we put on in the ordinary affairs of our lives”. Rev.Fr. Quaye- Foli said

He further stressed that “it’s time to learn from Jesus this year how to turn ordinary things into extraordinary just as he turn ordinary Fish men into fishers of men”.

He concluded by encouraging us that we should be attentive to the little things in our lives and lets be content because in the little things we will find Jesus and in all things cling to Jesus, who is all that we need and follow him in all his ways.

Very Rev.Fr. Andrew Anumu Quaye-Foli, SVD, is the Parish Priest of St. Charles Lwanga Parish, Abeka, here in the Archdiocese of Accra; he gave this reflection during the Kaneshie Deanery week day Mass at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Kwashieman.
