Thursday, 13th May Declared a Public Holiday
The Ministry of Interior on behalf of the Government of Ghana issued a press release under section 2 of the Public Holidays and Commemorative Days Act, (Act 601).
The release is to inform the general public that Thursday, 13th May 2021 has been declared as an additional Public Holiday and it is expected that all should observe as such throughout the country” a statement signed by the Minister of Interior, Ambrose Dery indicated.

The general public is hereby informed that Thursday, 13th May 2021 which marks Eid-ul-Fitr, is a Statutory Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.
