Pope wants accounts in order for the Jubilee of 2025 and requests an audit from the Diocese of Rome

Rome is already preparing for the great Jubilee of 2025 and the Pope wants transparency in all his anteroom.

Francis has asked the Revisor General of the Holy See, Alessandro Cassinis Righini, to initiate an audit of the Vicariate of Rome, with a magnifying glass on the balance sheets and budgets.

This is an unprecedented event in which processes and administrative management of investments, real estate and human resources will be reviewed.

The diocese of Rome administers some 330 parishes and more than 500 churches that must be ready to receive the thousands of pilgrims who will come to Rome in 2025 for the Jubilee.
