A communique from the bishop-elect of the Sekondi-Takoradi Diocese, Rev. Msgr. John Baptist Attakruh , addressed to the clergy, religious brothers and sisters as well as the Catholic faithful, reports the sudden demise of Mrs Agnes Kwofie, (mother of Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie Cssp)

The sad moment happened at the Jubilee Children’s Hospital, Apowa in the Sekondi-Takoradi Diocese. All are encouraged to remember the decease in prayer

With deep sorrow, I announce the demise of Mrs. Agnes Kwofie, the mother of Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra.

Mrs. Agnes Kwofie passed on yesterday evening at the Jubilee Children’s Hospital, Apowa.

Please, do well to pray for the repose of her soul, and to also remember in your prayers Archbishop Kwofie and the entire bereaved family.
