Memorial Mass to be held in honour of the Late Rev. Bro.  Francis Pius Kweku Agyemang,SVD

The Divine Word Missionaries, SVD Ghana/Liberia province is set to hold a memorial mass for Rev. Bro.  Francis Pius Kweku Agyemang SVD, the first indigenous member of the SVD in Ghana; a release signed by the Provincial Superior, Rev Fr. Cyprian Kuupol, SVD has stated.

The Memorial mass is to take place on August 20, 2021, at 11.00 am at the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Adabraka-Accra after the ” necessary consultation and arrangement was concluded amicably”

The purpose is to celebrate the deceased immerse contribution to the growth of the  church in Ghana; such as the Catholic liturgy, Sacred Music and inculturation through music, teaching where he has composed over 1,000 songs which are sung in the Catholic church and other Christian circles.
