Pope Francis meets Ecuador’s new ambassador to the Holy See

Ecuador’s new ambassador to the Holy See, Alicia de Jesús Crespo Vega, presented her credential letters to Pope Francis at the Vatican.

The Pope also met the new ambassador’s husband as well as her four children and grandchildren.

Previously she was heavily involved in volunteer work with Catholic organizations in the city of Guayaquil.
