Fire ravages 3-storey building at Makola in Accra

There is a fire outbreak at the makola No.2 market destroying goods worth billions.
eyewitnesses say the fire started around 9 am on Monday, July 5, 2021, destroying shops on a three-storey building at Makola in the central business district, CBD.
smokes were seen billowing from one of the shops then later spread to others shops on one of the top floors of the building.
The building is occupied by traders who sell assorted products such as bags, hair and cosmetic products, materials, and footwear ent.
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) are fighting off the blazing fire support by some members of the security agencies.
