We become the mouthpiece of Jesus by baptism – Fr Hans Agenafa, SVD

During Mass celebrated in Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, New Aplaku, on the occasion of the Solemnity of Christ the King, the priest in charge, Rev. Fr. Hans Gerber Agbenafa, SVD, said that by virtue of baptism, we become the mouthpiece of Jesus.

Fr. Hans continued to say that God gave us the power to be the children of God, and he sent us the king of hope, Jesus Christ.

Fr. admonished the youth to be humble wherever or whatever they find themselves, be of service to one another including those we do not know, and also be merciful and truthful, “Speak the truth, it is a kingdom swag and a kingdom value”, he added.

He asked that we make ourselves ever ready to forgive and “let us look at Jesus and exhibit pure love” because perfect love drives out fear.

Fr. Hans Gerber Agbenafa, therefore, encouraged all that as we celebrate the kingship of Jesus, we should remember to practice his virtue.
