Make chocolate a gift of choice on all occasions – Nkrumah

Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah on Thursday, 3 February 2022, launched the 2022 National Chocolate Week in Mampong.

The Week is on the theme: “Eat Chocolate, Stay Healthy and Grow Ghana”.

Chocolate Week spans the 8th to 14th February 2022.

It aims to promote the local consumption of chocolate and other cocoa products in an effort to also make chocolate a gift of choice not only on Valentine’s Day but on all occasions.

As part of the launch, Mr. Nkrumah visited the Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Farm in Mampong Akuapem.

He said it was a beautiful experience to have seen what is believed to be some of the first cocoa trees planted in Ghana.
