“ Do You Hate Sin?” – Fr. Parankimalil Questions Catholic Women

In a powerful reflection on grace and personal conversion, Rev. Fr. Anthony Parankimalil, VC, posed a thought-provoking question to Catholic women: “Do you hate sin?”

Speaking at the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra’s Eucharistic Spirituality Seminar for Catholic women on Friday, June 6, 2025, Fr. Anthony emphasized that hatred for sin alone is not enough to overcome it.

“You cannot stop committing sin simply because you hate it, it takes the grace of God,” he said.

He urged the women to seek God’s grace actively and embrace the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

“Even if you have fallen short, remember that our God is loving and forgiving,” he added.

In his message, he called for a sincere reflection on spiritual struggles and asked that the faithful rely on divine grace for transformation.
